Brilliant
Envy can be different. Sometimes kids envy other kids’ stuff, sometimes their abilities. This book is exactly about envy of others’ abilities and self-respect. It’s just what I was looking for! After I watched the fairy tale on YouTube, I ordered it right away. Such a colorful, bright, beautiful book—plus it’s got an article and a game too!

Feelings book
The whole envy thing was a real problem for us—my son, he’s 5, keeps complaining that others have better stuff than him. I didn’t just wanna say ‘don’t be jealous,’ I wanted to explain what to do about it. This book helped! The story’s simple, but it really hits home, especially with such beautiful illustrations. And the article at the end gave me a couple of useful phrases I’ve started using. Highly recommend!

Story was a bit short
The book’s really good, but I thought the story was a bit short. Though for little kids (3-4 years old), it’s just right. The illustrations aren’t like the ones in classic kids' books, but they’re stylish and beautiful. Loved the idea with the game, it helped my kid understand that envy can be overcome.
